Overview

Cress Microgreens have a strong peppery taste that mellows as it grows larger. Grow only small quantities at the microgreens stage. Cress will grow to to the baby salad stage. Cress is a mucilaginous seed.

It is a valuable source of vitamins and minerals. It supplies us with vitamins C, A, B vitamins, as well as PP and K. Young leaves have a pleasant, savoury taste. They are a great addition to sandwiches, salads and curd.

Cress or garden cress, haleem in marathi, is a fast growing edible herb genetically related to watercress and mustard. It has a tangy peppery flavour and is used extensively in soups, sandwiches or salads and as micro greens. It is rich in fibre and is a potent laxative that ensures a healthy gut. it is also used to treat colic in children.
